|
Justin D. Grosz is a partner at Alters, Boldt, Brown, Rash & Culmo,
P.A. Mr. Grosz has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1993. He
began his career with the State Attorney's Office in the Seventeenth
Judicial Circuit, where he spent close to 12 years as an Assistant
State Attorney. While there, he specialized in the investigation and
prosecution of career criminals charged with Homicide, Kidnapping,
Armed Robbery and Carjacking, dedicating himself to assisting victims
of violent crimes obtain justice. He also supervised fellow prosecutors
in the investigation and prosecution of DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular
Homicide and Hit and Run fatalities. Justin has been board certified in
criminal trial practice since 2002 and has been a member of the Federal
Bar since 1999.
In 2004 he left the State Attorney's Office for civil practice where he
has represented governmental entities, focusing on wrongful death,
personal injury and civil rights claims. And, since entering private
practice, he has been appointed, twice, by the Broward State Attorney's
Office to serve as a special prosecutor.
Justin has represented police officers from a variety of law
enforcement agencies in both State and Federal Court, handling matters
ranging from wrongful death and significant personal injury to civil
rights claims. He has lectured to police officers and has been
published on matters relating to police professional liability. His
current client list includes the Broward County Sheriff's Office and
the City of Hollywood.
Over the course of his career, Justin has tried in excess of 225 jury trials to verdict.
